Green Giant Fresh, the “fresh” branch of the iconic Green Giant company, continues to expand its line of more than 200 branded goods, “many of which are microwavable right in their package,” says the company, and aim to be “easy and convenient options valued by time-starved consumers.”
Its latest offering is a line of six Vegetable Meal Bowls, each of which is sold in a microwavable container with a colorful label on top that identifies product variety, key ingredients, and usage copy such as “Steams in bowl, just add sauce!” Also pictured is a mouthwatering image of a product serving next to the legendary Green Giant character.
Packaging details and suppliers were not revealed.
Green Giant Fresh Vegetable Meal Bowls are designed to be satisfying on their own or can be customized to fit a recipe, diet, or taste. Each bowl includes a 100% fresh vegetable base, inspired by the company’s first-to-market Cauliflower Crumbles and Vegetable Noodle lines, flavorful sauces, and seasoning packets.
Green Giant Fresh partnered with dietitian and food and nutrition expert Amanda Lemein, MS, RD on the gluten-free line, some of which is vegan-friendly.
“Eating well and conveniently is a challenging concept but this line of Green Giant Fresh Vegetable Meal Bowls offers an easy way to pack in more nutrients and fiber,” Lemein says. “Vegetable Meal Bowls are perfect for everyone because they’re so versatile. The Vegetable Meal Bowl line includes six varieties: Buddha Bowl, Burrito Bowl, Pad Thai Bowl, Rancheros Bowl, Ramen Bowl, and “Fried Rice” Bowl, all of which are available for $3.99 in the refrigerated produce section at grocers nationwide.
