Randolph, NJ-based K.D. Research-SunPure Beauty says in its “mission is to provide to the hair professional unique lines of superior technical products with guaranteed performance and results that will always respect the integrity of the hair and the comfort of your client.”

For its SunPure Beauty line, the company selected a line of stock high-density polyethylene Teardrop Ovals from O.Berk Co.. According to O.Berk, “K.D. Research uses the finest ingredients, including silk protein and botanical keratins in their haircare products. They were looking to provide a line of bottles that reflected their approach to this private label, luxury marketplace.”

The ovals use a custom silver colorant resin in the 10-oz bottle for the shampoos and conditioners (normal and color-treated hair), 6 oz for the smoothing balm, and 2 oz for the travel-size shampoos and conditioners. The stock natural disc caps were hot-stamped silver and red to indicate normal or color-treated hair. The bottles were silk-screened in three passes to achieve the dynamic luxury packaging that attract salon/spa customers.
