Pharmaworks and WLS – both ProMach product brands – announce the appointment of Michael Mora to the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States and Western Canada. Mora is responsible for bringing packaging systems from Pharmaworks and WLS to pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, animal health, medical device and consumer goods manufacturers and contract packers throughout these vital regions.

“Michael’s addition to the ProMach Pharma team expands our presence in the West. Now, customers here can expect even faster response times and more frequent in-person visits than before,” said Chad Tyler, Director of Sales at Pharmaworks. “This is great timing for Pharmaworks. We just introduced the TF1 – a low-volume, cost-effective blister machine that’s perfect for entry-level customers such as start-ups, which are so prevalent on the west coast.”

“Demand for WLS equipment is increasing right now, especially given the growth of on-demand label printing as well as the success of our high-speed labelers with COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers,” said Philippe Maraval, Vice President of Sales at WLS. “Michael has an opportunity to deliver enormous value to a large number of product manufacturers and contract packers. He has a strong technical engineering background, and he knows pharma packaging from the inside out – what it takes to implement new lines, operate at peak performance, overcome pain points and more. Beyond that, Michael is a personable, enthusiastic guy who understands our customers.”

Mora brings six years of experience with pharmaceutical packaging equipment. He has held positions of increasing responsibility at Kindeva Drug Delivery (previously 3M Drug Delivery), where he was most recently Production Supervisor. Mora holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from California State University, Northridge.

“It’s an honor to represent these two leaders in the pharma, nutra and medical device packaging industries. I know firsthand how important it is to have reliable, high-quality systems on your production lines,” said Mora. “Based on my experience working with many different equipment suppliers, I can look customers in the eye and honestly say that Pharmaworks and WLS offer the best solutions on the market.”
