Victrex PEEK is a durable, chemical- and hydrolysis-resistant product that also is also said to provide excellent creep properties, dimensional stability, and mechanical strength. The thermoplastic withstands high-pressure steam up to 19 bar (276 psi).
Victrex PEEK helps maintain taste consistency of the food and beverages it comes in contact with, and can also deliver significant cost savings, provide design flexibility, and make it possible to create more complex components, meeting the challenging design requirements of a variety of applications. Components made from VICTREX PEEK can be produced inexpensively using injection molding especially in thin-wall parts.
