Get an overview of the National Fire Protection Association's newly updated combustible liquids code from somebody who helped write it. Mike Snyder is a member of the NFPA Standards Council who serves on the technical committee involved with NFPA 30 (2018), the Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code.

Snyder will go over the fire risks of combustible liquid storage in Composite Intermediate Bulk Containers (CIBCs) and discuss new requirements for using listed and labeled CIBCs with Class II and IIIA liquids. He will also share simple evaluation flowcharts you can use to easily determine when CIBCs may be used in conformance with NFPA 30 (2018) and in what configurations.
