Medford, NJ: Packaging machinery manufacturer A + F Automation USA, Medford, NJ (www.afautomationusa.com), has appointed veteran automation technician Eric Verkuylen Service Manager. Bringing 13 years of experience in operating, maintaining and optimizing the efficiency of robotic and mechanical packaging machinery, Verkuylen is responsible for commissioning new A + F systems, installing upgrades, providing technical support, and training operators at customer facilities throughout North America. Verkuylen previously managed a wide range of A + F Automation system installations in comparable positions for IMA USA and the former parent company, Oystar USA.

The position was created to provide the company's growing customer base with fast access to knowledgeable, on-site service as needed, according to Tim Howell, U.S. Sales Manager. “Our packaging systems use a high level of advanced technology to reach such high levels of speed and performance,” says Howell, “and Eric's background in preventative maintenance and his track record with our automated systems make him a valuable resource for our customers and the ideal choice.”

A + F AutomationUSA offers a wide range of standard and custom-engineered end-of-line packaging machinery using both robotic and mechanical systems. Its line includes sleevers, case packers, erectors, multi-packers, palletizers and other machinery.
