2017 marks sixty years in business for CHL Systems. Founded in 1957 by Clayton H. Landis, as an equipment repair and installation firm in eastern Pennsylvania, CHL Systems experienced steady growth by building long-term customer relationships with an emphasis on providing consistent value. Over the years, the company grew and transitioned to the design and fabrication of custom process automation equipment and services for production facilities in a variety of industries including snack foods, confectionery, food processing and packaging, meat handling and packaging, pharmaceutical, steel, energy, and general manufacturing.

CHL Systems remains a family owned and operated corporation and is recognized by global business partners for its excellent team of experienced and highly skilled professionals. Our dedicated men and women work diligently every day with clients, from small businesses to many fortune 500 companies, producing the best solutions for an ever-changing and highly competitive environment. It is the expertise of our people that has allowed CHL Systems to look ahead to the next sixty years and offer current technologies like automation controls and robotics solutions for processing and packaging that allow even greater production efficiency improvements and reduced operating costs.

According to Kevin Landis, CEO, the company remains true to its roots. "As we reach this milestone in our company history, we re-affirm our commitment to our vision, mission and core values, which remain as relevant today as they were in 1957. We strive to operate with trust and integrity as we continue to inspire innovation in processing automation through superior engineering, technology and experienced craftsmanship." CHL plans a celebration later in the year.
