In conjunction with PMMI’s recently announced ProFood Tech show to launch in April 2017, PMMI Media Group has hired Carolyn Dress as Director, Business Development to help guide the company’s expansion into the food and beverage processing arena. The media company, which is owned by PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, plans to utilize Dress’ expertise to grow its portfolio of digital, print and show products in this new market. Additionally, Dress will help develop opportunities for PMMI’s OpX Leadership Network, a community of manufacturing, engineering and operations professionals dedicated to operational excellence for CPG manufacturers.

Dress brings with her over 20 years of media sales experience with a wealth of knowledge in the food and dairy industry, including her most recent position at BNP Media, a business-to-business media company. Prior to that, she has held other positions in food industry media, including Publisher of Dairy Foods and Chain Leader magazines. Dress holds a degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University, with a specialization in advertising and marketing.

PMMI Media Group’s President, Joe Angel, shares his thoughts. “With Carolyn’s experience in the food and dairy area, she is ideally situated to help us uncover opportunities within these markets. We look forward to her leading our efforts supporting ProFood Tech, PMMI Media Group’s many print and digital products and PMMI’s food-related initiatives.”
