Omnistar is a coated two side (C2S) commercial print multi-layered paperboard offering. The multi-layered technology utilizes less pulp in production to create a higher basis weight, thus creating a lighter sheet, providing a 10% - 15% yield advantage, ultimately delivering significant cost savings to the end-user.

Omnistar’s premium double-blade, two-sided, coated surface provides rapid run speeds, outstanding ink hold-out and minimal dot-gain, resulting in reduced time from make-ready to high production run speeds, efficiency and accurate output. The 90-92 brightness provides the perfect soft, yet bright white for color enhancing graphic treatment. The state-of-the art layered papermaking process used for Omnistar enables the usage of both virgin hard and soft wood pulp layers resulting in a highly stable, calendared sheet with a lower basis weight and yield advantage. This delivers the pure virgin whiteness retailers and brands are seeking to distinguish their on-the-shelf products.
GPS offers the Omnistar grade in size options which range from 12 to 24 point, including roll widths to accommodate most commercial and wide-format press configurations. This includes nine roll/sheet widths from 28.5” all the way up to 60” in various calipers which can be sheeted and converted for almost any kind of commercial and wide-format applications.
