Adents, a leading provider of versatile and easily deployable serialization and track-and-trace software solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, has hired Erik W. Bronander as Senior Director of Sales. Mr. Bronander will help lead the expansion of Adents’ operations in the Americas.

Widely known in Europe, Adents recently opened a U.S. office in Princeton, NJ as it continues to make inroads into the North American pharmaceutical sector. Mr. Bronander will play a key role in this expansion, overseeing an ambitious sales growth and customer development strategy.

Mr. Bronander has an extensive background in both domestic and international sales and marketing. His career highlights include serving as VP of Sales and Marketing for Labeling Systems LLC, a division of Pro Mach. In this role he significantly increased sales - developing existing distributors and tripling sales output in the process – and set up a new network of agents in open and non-performing territories. He also started a successful international program, opening up the Canadian and Mexican markets without a large investment, and increased the OEM channel more than 40%.

Most recently, Mr. Bronander served as National Sales Manager for Modular Packaging, Inc., where he was responsible for 86% of sales, which included tablet fillers and fully integrated packaging lines for Actavis and Pfizer. At Modular Packaging, he also worked closely with a variety of serialization partners to ensure packaging lines were ready for track and trace implementation as various regulatory deadlines approached.

This serialization background serves Mr. Bronander well at Adents, whose core solution for the pharmaceutical sector, Adents Pharma Suite, is unparalleled in its combination of fast implementation, user simplicity and cost-effectiveness. Efficient and reliable, Adents Pharma Suite is fully interoperable, easily scalable and exceptionally flexible to the ever-shifting needs of pharmaceuticals manufacturers and contract packagers.

Developed in compliance with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations and following GAMP5 guidelines, Adents' serialization software solutions perform a variety of crucial track-and-trace capabilities, including:

• Generation of unique barcodes and importation of serial numbers
• Affiliations management for origin identification (bundle, pallet, etc.), and distribution of various types of serialized code
• Facilitate and drive the printing of unit barcodes, and control their conformity
• Data centralization and reports processing

Mr. Bronander received a B.S. in Business Administration from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA. He was a Board Member of the Scandia Packaging Machinery Company for ten years, and is a PMMI Membership Committee member. He resides in Westfield, NJ.
