Rinco Ultrasonics, a leading manufacturer of ultrasonic welding equipment, was recently installed as a new member of PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, a trade association representing more than 700 companies that provide a full range of processing and packaging machinery, materials, components, and containers. The PMMI Board of Directors approved Rinco’s membership during its April 11 meeting, held in conjunction with PMMI's 2015 Executive Leadership Conference in Ponte Vedra, Fla.
“We’re pleased and honored to be a member of the one of the leading packaging trade associations in the U.S.,” said Gordon Hull, managing director of Rinco Ultrasonics. “We value what PMMI does in bringing buyers and sellers together through various outreach program and marketing initiatives such as packexpo.com, educational programs, and world-class events; as a result we expect our relationship to bring lasting benefits.”
Rinco’s new relationship with PMMI will be a key asset in terms of sales and marketing as the company expands its business with new products, technology, and services for the packaging industry. “As we expand our presence in the market, we hope to tap into PMMI’s ability to facilitate connectivity throughout the supply chain,” said Hull.
PMMI member companies manufacture packaging, processing and packaging-related converting machinery, commercially available packaging machinery components, containers and materials in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
