Pelican Products, Inc., the global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance protective case solutions and advanced portable lighting systems announces the appointment of Dave Williams as President of its Pelican BioThermal Division. Mr. Williams replaces Tom Anderson, Sr. Vice President of Pelican BioThermal, who has made major contributions to the business during his tenure with the company.

"Dave Williams' number one priority as new President of Pelican BioThermal will be to continue to bring to the global market our vital temperature-controlled packaging products and solutions," said Lyndon Faulkner, President and CEO of Pelican Products.

The Pelican BioThermal brand offers the broadest range of passive temperature-controlled packaging options available, including a rapidly expanding global network of asset management service solutions. The Division boasts the largest global distribution capabilities and sales and customer service support in the life science industry. It also provides the highest concentration of talent, resources and customizable solutions to accommodate any thermal shipper requirements. Its full suite of products and services offer longevity, reusability and sustainability to provide the safe transport of pharmaceuticals, tissue, diagnostics/clinical trials, vaccines and blood supplies.

Williams brings over 30 years of executive and management experience to his new post. Most recently he held the position of Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Pelican and was responsible for executing the company's growth strategies.

Throughout his career, Williams has held many management and engineering positions with great success. He served as Vice President of Capital and Engineering at Technicolor, where he oversaw engineering initiatives for the world's largest pre-recorded, optical disc manufacturing facilities and developed and managed capital budgets of up to $100 million annually. Also, he managed technology roll-outs for such industry-changing products such as Blu-ray and Xbox discs. He also served as Project Director for compact disc pioneer Nimbus, where he managed the construction of green field sites and consolidation of manufacturing facilities around the world from design to production.
