From its extensive portfolio of machines, Optima has chosen to exhibit the OPTIMA DFe 4-2 filling weigher for powders, granulates and granular products at ExpoPack. It achieves outstanding filling accuracy thanks to a high-resolution load cell combined with continuous self-optimization to minimize “giveaway” (product loss). The filling weigher boasts an especially large filling range without the need for a format change: up to 15,000 ml or 15,000 g can be portioned per package. Formulas stored in machine control can be accessed via the touchscreen for product changeovers. The maximum output is 60 portions per minute. Parts in contact with the product in this highly robust filling weigher are constructed of top-quality stainless steel.
