Pharma Technology Inc. (PTI), specialty manufacturer of innovative tablet dedusters and capsule polishers combined with metal detectors and loading systems for pharmaceutical solid dose production, has hired Christian R. Cattanea as a regional sales engineer. An effective sales manager with proven ability handling major accounts, Mr. Cattanea brings to Pharma Technology Inc. 12 years of outstanding sales management experience in industrial manufacturing.
In his new role, Mr. Cattanea will manage the efforts in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions as well as select Midwest areas, furthering Pharma Technology Inc.’s push into North American markets. This April the company will introduce two new tableting technologies to the U.S. at INTERPHEX NYC, as well as showcase two machines from its portfolio of premium tablet dedusters.
Prior to joining Pharma Technology, Mr. Cattanea held sales managerial responsibilities at three industrial manufacturing firms, most recently at electrical products powerhouse Mennekes. Named Regional Sales Manager of the Year by Menneke in 2013, Mr. Cattanea was instrumental in expanding key accounts with both Nestle and Gillette. He has also worked for DBR Industries and Spectrum Industries.
Mr. Cattanea holds a Bachelor of Science in business marketing from Wesley College in Delaware, and resides in Haddon Township, New Jersey with his spouse, Jen Palm, and the couple’s newborn daughter.
