Packaging Coordinators, Inc. (PCI) has announced the addition of Tim Brown to its Global Clinical Services staff, assuming the role of Director of Project Management for North American operations.  Brown is transitioning from PCI’s Commercial packaging services team at the Rockford site, where PCI operates nine facilities including PCI’s state-of-the-art North American Clinical Packaging, Storage, and Distribution operations.  Brown joins PCI’s Clinical Services team as they are experiencing significant business growth and expansion, evidenced both in personnel growth as well as capital expansions.  In December PCI broke ground on a brand new 97,000 square foot stand-alone Storage and Distribution facility, slated to open in September of 2014.

“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Tim’s background joining our North American staff,” comments Brian Keesee, Executive Director of North American Clinical Services.  “Tim’s hands-on experience with strategic vision and systematic implementation of process analytical technologies, Lean disciplines, and maximizing the skills and impact of his staff really complements the direction of our Clinical Services business.  Our efforts are focused on providing customers unique insights and breakthroughs using our extensive global expertise to create optimal clinical trial supplies and ultimately bring them to successful commercialization.   Having supported many trial phase progressions and subsequent successful commercial product launches, Tim’s perspective is invaluable.”

Brown has been with PCI for 13 years, most recently in the role of Executive Director, Technical Operations.  Prior to PCI, Brown held positions with Cardinal Health (Catalent), Frito Lay, and Anderson Packaging.   Brown holds a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Iowa.
