Clondalkin makes senior appointments to UK business

The international producer of high value-added packaging solutions Clondalkin Group has appointed Mark White as Managing Director and Peter Richardson as Sales Director of its UK Carton and Label business.

The UK Carton and Label business consists of Clondalkin Group facilities in Northampton, Great Harwood, Hull and Kimbolton, and forms part of the Group's Specialist Packaging Division.

Mark White has been with the company for a number of years and held various senior management positions in the UK and Europe. Commenting on his new role Mark said: "I am looking forward to this new challenge and to further developing the business' competitive advantage and developing new opportunities for the Group in the UK."

Peter Richardson, who has 25 years experience of working in the packaging industry said: "I am excited about my new role and taking the business forward. Clondalkin has a wonderful reputation, an enviable position in the market, an excellent product portfolio, great people, and really did impress me when going through the interview process."

David Lennon, CEO, added: "We welcome Mark and Peter onto the UK team and are confident that together they will further develop our strong leadership positions in the markets in which we operate. Mark has a wealth of experience of working within the Group so has a clear understanding of how we operate and our strategic direction. Peter will bring fresh insight into the business and will play a valuable role as we seek to further enhance our service offering."

Clondalkin Group's Specialist Packaging Division has 24 production sites throughout North America and Europe and includes folding cartons, labels, leaflets, literature and inserts/outserts businesses, along with paper packaging and printing components. It operates across an extensive range of range of markets including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, toiletries and confectionery.
