The PANTONE Certified Printer Program is the only printer certification program that audits, inspects, analyzes and qualifies all operations to meet Pantone’s lofty quality standards – from creative and ink mixing to print production and customer satisfaction management. The Program helps printing and packaging companies reproduce and control branding color with consistent accuracy, optimize operations for greater efficiency, and reduce make-ready times and waste. Program applicants undergo a rigorous certification process that includes a full week of on-site assessment.
During the thorough certification process, 3C! Packaging demonstrated PANTONE’s heightened standards for competence throughout the print production process, displaying exemplary abilities to use instrumentation, software and process control to measure, communicate and correct color. The Program audits prepress process steps as well, meaning that, through the use of instruments and ink formulation software, 3C! Packaging proved adept at calculating ideal matches to clients’ chosen substrates, as well as setting realistic customer expectations of how closely these colors could be matched.
