TricorBraun wins national design award

TricorBraun won the American Graphic Design Award in the 2013 Graphic Design USA annual competition.

The award was presented for a 32 ounce bottle that was distinguished by its complex geometric sculpture and arresting purple color.

TricorBraun is one of North America's largest suppliers of rigid packaging and components.

The high density polyethylene bottle was created for Adaptuit, a stress-relieving drink produced and marketed by TriVita, a Scottsdale, Ariz. nutraceutical company.

The embellishment is a purple shrink wrap sleeve that covers the entire bottle and features the name of the product along with its attributes in shades of purple.

The bottle uses a matching purple, polypropylene tamper-evident closure fitted to a 38-400 neck finish.

TricorBraun's primary focus is on designing, sourcing and supplying rigid packaging components for personal care; cosmetics; healthcare; food and beverages; as well as industrial and household chemicals.It has more than 40 offices globally and has one of the largest inventories of rigid packaging components worldwide.

The American Graphic Design Awards received more than 9,000 entries from the entire graphic arts industry including advertising agencies, design firms and publishers. The competition embraces all aspects of design ranging from corporate annual reports and packaging to internet and interactive design.
