As IoPP continues to offer deeper member engagement, the Institute is enhancing the voting structure for the Board of Directors. To establish the 2014 Board, there will be an open nomination process with a general election of officers by the full membership.

Five (of nine) positions are up for election in 2014 with the term running two years, starting at the end of January.

Completed nominations must be submitted by Noon on January 10, 2014. The IoPP Nominating Committee will determine nominee eligibility. Once eligibility is determined, nominated individuals will be elected by a general vote of the IoPP membership.

The final slate will be announced on January 24 and those elected will begin their leadership role on January 31, 2014.

To nominate someone, you must complete and submit the qualifications form (links below) by Noon on January 10, 2014.

Officer nomination qualifications:

• Must be a current Regular Member (or higher) of IoPP for the past 3 years;

• Able to travel to a maximum of 2 in-person board meetings per year (travel is self-funded, IoPP does not reimburse for officer travel);

• Able to participate in 4-6 additional board conference calls per year;

• Candidates not holding the Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) designation are strongly encouraged to apply during their term of service;

• Only a current CPP may be elected to the VP of Education position
