PMMI announces new board members

The PMMI membership elected five members to four-year terms on the PMMI Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors chose its Executive Committee for 2014 at PMMI’s Annual Meeting this week.

PMMI Nominating Committee Chairman Nick Wilson, president of Morrison Container Handling Solutions, presented the slate of candidates to the membership.

"We try to achieve a balance of company demographics, and of course we look for people who have demonstrated commitment to PMMI," said Wilson. "This year's class of new board members meets that criteria."

The new Board members’ terms will begin January 1, 2014, and end December 31, 2017.

PMMI's new Board members are:

Pres Lawhon, President and General Manager, Bosch Packaging Technology, Inc.
Bosch Packaging Technology joined PMMI in 1961. Based in New Richmond, Wisc., the company is a General Member.

Martin Prakken, CEO, BluePrint Automation, Inc.
BluePrint Automation, Inc., is based in Colonial Heights, Va. The company is a General Member that joined PMMI in 1992.

Gary Saunders, President/CEO, Magnum Systems, Inc.
Magnum Systems, Inc., joined PMMI in 1996 as a General Member. The company is based in Kansas City, Kan.

Alan Shuhaibar, President, BellatRx Inc.
BellatRx is based in Pointe-Claire, QC, Canada. The company joined PMMI as a General Member in 2007. Alan Shuhaibar currently serves as the chairman of the Business Intelligence Committee.

Gary Tantimonico, Vice President, PDC International Corporation
PDC International is a General Member based in Norwalk, Conn. The company joined PMMI in 1984.

The Executive Committee, confirmed during the Board of Directors’ Sept. 28 meeting, will serve one year terms from Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2014.
