On November 21 and 22, military physicians from around the world will explain their organizational structures, forms of international cooperation and duties as well as working conditions and the resulting requirements for medical technology. The conference language will be English.

Heike Lange, Managing Director for the conference organizer BETA Verlag und Marketinggesellschaft mbH, stated: “With this conference, we want to demonstrate to all participants that they will meet their target groups at MEDICA.” According to Heike Lange, the potential of military medicine is often underestimated. Among others, the following speakers have been confirmed: Roger Van Hoof, M.D., Major General (ret), Secretary General of the International Committee on Military Medicine (ICMM), Dr. Andreas Dierich, CAPT (N), Deputy Director, NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE), Colonel Stefan Kowitz, MD, MC, Bundeswehr Medical Service Headquarters, Division Head Medical Planning and Development and COL Shawn C. Nessen, DO - FACS, Combat Support Hospital Trauma Critical Care Surgeon LRMC, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, USA.

In the afternoon of November 21, medical technology companies such as Toshiba, FareTec, F. Stephan Medizintechnik and FLOMOR will present their products.

The second day of the conference (November 22) will be dedicated to networking, allowing participants and industry representatives to exchange experiences.
