Topline forms new manufacturing site in China

Topline Products, a leader in innovative cosmetics packaging and products, has announced the formation of a new manufacturing site, Topline Tianjin, which will significantly expand its manufacturing base. Located near Beijing, the manufacturing facility is equipped to produce many types of beauty packaging, as well as components for the automotive, electronics and medical industries.

Combined with Topline Michigan, Topline Mexico and Xia Fei Cosmetics in China, the addition of Topline Tianjin increases the company’s total manufacturing square footage to over 600,000 square feet of production and warehousing space globally.

“This new addition to our manufacturing base supports our strategic objective of creating a global sales and manufacturing organization to serve our network of global customers,” said Charles Chang, Topline president. “The Tianjin facility offers a cost competitive location to serve not only the Asian market but also customers in Europe, North and South America.

“The tool manufacturing facility also provides the ultimate flexibility in design and cost for all Topline manufacturing locations. The plant overall offers ample room for growth and expansion. Our company roots lie in packaging and our objective is to grow this plant into a world class manufacturing facility for not only the Asian market but the global market as well.”

The new Topline plant has state-of-the-art, in-house manufacturing capabilities for injection molding, mold design and fabrication, mold maintenance, complete cosmetic brush making operations, and decoration capabilities for hot stamping, silk screening, pad printing, and in-mold labeling and decoration.

Covering 270,000 square feet, the plant is a newly constructed facility that opened in January 2012. Topline Tianjin employs 400 people.
