CAPS (www.usecaps.com), has announced its plans to present for the fourth consecutive year as part of the educational series at PACK EXPO 2013. In this session, CAPS’ VP of Sales & Marketing, Drew Merrill, along with ReLogistics CEO, Mike Hachtman, will explore the four-step process of moving from expendable packaging to a reusable solution. Attendees will gain insight into the packaging transition process, beginning with the evaluation of bulk container alternatives through rollout and refinement. Participants will also be allowed to “ask the experts” about specific areas of concern or potential obstacles to making a successful switch into reusable packaging.

“Increasing pressure for businesses to improve operational sustainability has led to a number of industry-wide conversions to reusable transport packaging,” explains Merrill, “Reusables are not only great for the environment, but suppliers and manufacturers can also realize significant time and cost savings if their solution is implemented and managed correctly.”

The 45 minute session is scheduled for 1:00-1:45pm on Monday, September 23rd at PACK EXPO 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. To learn more about implementing reusable transport packaging in your supply chain or to register for the session, click here.
