Bilcare Research hires Don Sobocinski as Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Bilcare Research Inc., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of blister packaging solutions, has hired industry veteran Don Sobocinski as its new Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  The addition of Mr. Sobocinski comes in tandem with the promotion of two other corporate executives: Thomas McDonough has been promoted to Executive Vice President, and John Zripko has become the company’s President.

Mr. Sobocinski brings more than two decades of packaging sales experience to Bilcare Research, where he will manage sales and marketing efforts for each of the three business units – Pharmaceuticals Packaging, Shrink Films and Cards Solutions – supported at the company’s U.S. headquarters in Delaware City, DE.  He will be responsible for direct sales as well as oversight of a dedicated sales team and corresponding distributor networks. Mr. Sobocinski also will be involved in customer service for certain large-scale projects.

Prior to joining Bilcare, Mr. Sobocinski served for 15 years in several upwardly-mobile sales positions at Morristown, New Jersey-based Honeywell, where his accomplishments earned him several company sales awards. Over the course of his career with Honeywell, Mr. Sobocinski represented several divisions including Foams/Aerosols and Refrigerants; most recently, he held the title of Senior Account & Marketing Manager for the company’s Specialty Films sector.

Mr. Sobocinski earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University.  A father of two, he resides in Audubon, PA with his wife, Joanne.
