Kollmorgen has acquired MCS Engenharia Ltda. MCS is a leading Brazilian-based manufacturer and system integrator of standard and customized high performance motion controllers and complementary motion control components. Established in 1983 and headquartered in Tamboré, São Paulo, Brazil, MCS is the largest domestic supplier of precision motion controllers. The company was also the first Brazilian-based motion control manufacturer. The acquisition combines both companies’ industry-leading expertise, technology and products, making Kollmorgen resources readily available to Brazilian machine builders and making MCS resources available to Kollmorgen customers around the world. Day-to-day operations at MCS will remain unchanged.
