Jack will help us in establishing enhanced lab capabilities to better serve our medical customer base, assist in troubleshooting, and aid in new product development.
“Jack had been our key contact at Eastman Chemical for his medical expertise,” said Director of Technology/Quality Management, Jim Wrycha, “he’ll be a great resource for both Pacur and our customers.”
Jim Banko, VP of Sales, is also excited to have Jack come aboard. “Jack’s considerable knowledge in the fields of medical grade polyester extrusion and thermoforming will prove very valuable to our customers and our industry.”
Jack previously worked at Eastman Chemical for 15 years in a similar role helping companies extrude, form, seal, and sterilize Eastman polyester based materials. During that time, he also joined the ASTM F02 committee that deals with testing flexible barrier packaging and gave several keynotes at medical packaging conventions. Jack also participated in new product launches for Eastman and was instrumental in helping bring new or improved processes to the marketplace.
Prior to his experience with Eastman, Jack worked for GE Structured Products, VPI, Placon, and Ball Plastics, giving Jack a versatile background in both extrusion and thermoforming.
