Alan Bonsor joins Label Apeel as Technical Manager

Label Apeel, the Leicester-based self-adhesive label printer has recruited Alan Bonsor, as technical manager.

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

Bonsor joins from fellow UK converter Labelsco, where he’s worked for the last 30 years.

Bonsor has been brought in to strengthen Label Apeel’s research and development remit. He is also set to develop a European wide centre of excellence for self-adhesive labels. The new recruit will be working with the production team to instill world-class processes that deliver the very highest quality and continuity.

Delighted with his position, Bonsor said: ‘Label Apeel is a business that provides customers with a high quality product and service. I am focused on helping them forge partnerships with suppliers to promote innovation. I’m looking forward to working with a team of people who have a collective willingness to learn and a business that aspires to be the very best at what it does.’

Stuart Kellock, managing director of Label Apeel said: ‘It’s great to have Alan onboard. My father, Jim Kellock, recruited him over 30 years ago when he worked for Labelsco and now I’ve done the same. He’s a strong character and the right man to help take Label Apeel into 2013.”

Label Apeel are celebrating a double win of industry awards: Label of the Year at the Packaging Awards 2012 and the label award at the Digital Printer Awards.
