Sharp announces move for engineering, machine services

Sharp Packaging Systems announced that several departments will be moving down the street into a 25,000 ft2 facility at W233 N2800 Roundy Circle West, Suite 200, Pewaukee, WI 53072.

Both the engineering department and the machine manufacturing and services group are relocating.

“We have been growing quickly,” notes Mike Menz, president at Sharp. “We needed to expand our production, and moving these manufacturing and service groups makes it possible to increase our manufacturing capacity.”

Sharp has been experiencing growing pains with the introduction of several new packaging machines this year. The Hawk EvolutionTM, the company's first vertical form fill and seal machine, started shipping earlier this year. The new MAX 12TM and MAX 20TM continuous roll bagging systems are being rolled out. The upgrades incorporated in these new MAX baggers have established new standards within the packaging industry.
