ITW Announces the ITW Security and Brand Identity Group

ITW Covid Security Group Inc., a state-of-the-art manufacturer of polymer-based security materials and world leader in the production of OVD (optically variable device) security lamination for plastic photo identification credentials announced today that it is now part of the newly formed ITW Security and Brand Identity Group.

The ITW Security and Brand Identity Group is comprised of individual business units of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW), a Fortune 150 multinational manufacturer, and combines the individual business unit's strengths and synergies to further penetrate new markets by leveraging the broad portfolio of highly specialized security and brand identity products that each of these companies individually currently offer.

The ITW Security and Brand Identity Group will be led by Mr. Nick Martino, Group President, who brings more than 25 years of senior management, security expertise and leadership experience to the group. Mr. Martino previously held management positions within ITW at ITW Graphics and ITW Covid, making him exceptionally well-prepared to lead this group and expand the group's global presence in delivering specialized security and brand identity solutions to customers around the world. "The strategic alignment of these business units in this new ITW platform creates a sustainable competitive advantage in moving our innovation efforts forward, and will lead to further enhanced security and brand identity offerings from these companies that are joined together," said Nick Martino, ITW Security and Brand Identity Group, Group President.
