Adept Technology Appoints Robert Malley as Vice President of Global Operations

Adept Technology, a leading provider of intelligent robots and autonomous mobile solutions, announces the appointment of Robert J.

Malley, Jr. as vice president of global operations. Mr. Malley is responsible for planning and managing all aspect of Adept's worldwide operations in support of the company's strategic objectives to deliver intelligent vision-guided robotics systems and services that enable customers to achieve precision, quality and productivity in their assembly, handling and packaging processes.

"With his extensive experience leading international operations and establishing global supply chains for technology-driven companies, Bob Malley is ideally suited to take this leadership role at Adept," said John Dulchinos, president and CEO of Adept Technology. "Based on his demonstrated experience in leading operations to improve customer satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability, we are confident that he will make a strong contribution to Adept and deliver significant value to our customers."

Bob brings 20 years of operations leadership experience with technology companies to his position at Adept. Most recently, he was chief operating officer for MDC Vacuum Products, a leading vacuum components supplier. Previously, he was vice president of global materials and manufacturing at Intevac, a leading supplier of hard disk drive capital equipment. Prior to his time at Intevac, he served in a number of executive and management operations roles during his 13 years at Applied Materials. He holds a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
