Stefan Grote joins the Gerresheimer AG Management Board

Stefan Grote is joining the Gerresheimer AG Management Board on April 1, 2012.

He will be responsible for the Tubular Glass and Life Science Research Divisions and takes over from Dr. Max Raster, who is leaving the company.

The Supervisory Board has appointed Stefan Grote (42) to the Gerresheimer AG Management Board as of April 1, 2012. Stefan Grote will have responsibility for the Tubular Glass and Life Science Research Divisions. Stefan Grote is currently a member of the Managing Board of Tesa SE, a subsidiary of Beiersdorf AG, where he has headed the Business Unit Consumer since 2007. Prior to that, between 2005 and 2007, he was Head of the Industry Division at the Nordmilch commercial dairy. After graduating with a degree in business administration in 1994, he held various sales and marketing positions at Procter&Gamble before leaving the company as Associate Director in 2005.

“Stefan Grote is an excellent manager whose strong customer focus will help us to drive our business forward. We are glad to have him on board,“ commented Gerhard Schulze, Chairman of the Gerresheimer AG Supervisory Board.

Dr. Max Raster, Head of the Tubular Glass and Life Science Research Divisions, has reached agreement with the Gerresheimer AG Super-visory Board on the cancellation of his Management Board Contract as of April 30, 2012.

“Differences in opinion on the divisions' future business strategy led to this consensual decision,“ said Supervisory Board Chairman Gerhard Schulze. “On behalf of the Supervisory Board I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Max Raster for the work he has done and wish him all the best in the future."
