Weiler Labeling Systems Announces New Engineering Manager

Weiler Labeling Systems, LLC (WLS) announced the company has named Kevin Swartz as its new Engineering Manager.

Mr. Swartz will oversee the configuration and design of Weiler's complete range of label application system products.

Mr. Swartz has worked in the packaging industry for 16 years, spending the past decade working in the pharmaceutical packaging sector. His career spans a range of engineering expertise in contract packaging, design engineering and project management.

Prior to joining WLS, Mr. Swartz was the Senior Engineering Manager at Catalent Pharma Solutions, a $1.7 billion service, logistics and supply solutions provider to the global pharmaceutical industry. He commented, "Before joining WLS, I was very familiar with their products because the company I was working for was a Weiler customer. I knew two things before even setting foot in an interview; that WLS makes great equipment and that the company has excellent customer service. I am proud to be part of such an innovative team and at a company that is on the cutting edge of the industry's most challenging requirements."

WLS Vice President, Jon Guy, added, "We are thrilled to have Kevin on board at such a pivotal point in our company's history. As we forge ahead into new end-use sectors and expand our presence globally, Kevin will serve a key function in ensuring our products and services continue to meet, and exceed, our customers' requirements and expectations."

Mr. Swartz received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in 1995.
