With the production of MAUSER composite SM IBCs in Oosterhout, MAUSER further expands its worldwide production of IBC solutions and will be able to supply its customers in the Dutch region much more efficiently.
The new IBC line at the company's subsidiary MAUSER Benelux B.V. in Oosterhout was taken into operation in September of this year. During the next months, it is planned to gradually increase the production rate. MAUSER installed a complete IBC line including new multilayer blow moulding machinery. Therewith the MAUSER location in Oosterhout is able to produce the complete MAUSER® SM IBC portfolio which also comprises MAUSER® SM EX IBCs to be used in EX-Zones and the MAUSER® SM LP model with specific light protection capabilities.
“We see an increasing demand for IBC solutions in the region. By opening a new IBC line, we are able to faster respond to customers needs which is crucial to support supply chain processes in an optimal way. Furthermore, this enables MAUSER and our customers to reduce environmental impact due to the transport of empty packaging. Besides the new IBC line, MAUSER Benelux B.V. produces open-top drums, L-Ring drums and small plastic packaging for distribution in the Benelux countries. Furthermore, the subsidiary manufactures hospital waste drums for the European market.
