Russ Napolitano Joins CoreBrand as Chief Operating Office

Russ Napolitano (age 50) has joined CoreBrand, a leader in defining, expressing and leveraging corporate brands, in the new position of chief operating officer, announced chairman James Gregory.

•€žHiring Russ is a key decision for CoreBrand. We took our time and looked for someone who understands the scope of our current offerings and is be able to envision the trajectory going forward. We are thrilled to have found a key player for now and the future,•€° said Gregory.

Napolitano previously was vice president, strategic development at Wallace Church, Inc., where he oversaw marketing, strategy and business development. His career has been dedicated to strategic branding and includes positions at Ted Bates Advertising Worldwide and Gerstman+Meyers (Interbrand). Prior to joining Wallace Church, in 2006, for 14 years he was executive vice president with The Bailey Group, Inc. a Philadelphia-based strategic branding and design firm.

Napolitano•€šs experience crosses many product categories and includes leading companies such as: Henkel/The Dial Corporation, GSK, Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Logitech, 3M Pfizer, Maxell Corporation and Welch•€šs, to name a few.

Joining CoreBrand as COO will allow me to leverage my years of client service, strategy and business development in the advertising and branding industries to help CoreBrand continue to achieve its goals. Russ has a BS degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Baruch College, New York City. He is a member of The American Institute of Graphic Arts, The American Marketing Association, The Art Director•€šs Club, The Institute of Packaging Professionals and The Private Label Manufacturer•€šs Association.

He has had articles published in trade journals including: BrandPackaging, Shelf Impact and Marketing News, and recently contributed a chapter ˆ Packaging Can Be Your Best Investment ˆ for Shopper Marketing (Kogan Page, 2010). Russ as been a featured speaker at corporate branding summits: Branding & Marketing Excellence, HBA Global Expo, Institute of Food Technology (IFT), Interphex, In-Store Marketing Institute (a Distinguished Faculty Member), International Quality & Productivity (IQPC), Package Design, Packaging Strategies, Private Label Manufacturers•€š Association, Marketing Expo and the Beverage Industry Conference and has served as a judge for the Clear Choice Awards sponsored by the Glass Packaging Institute.
