James Gorab Named President of Turchette Advertising Agency

Turchette Advertising Agency, one of New Jersey's leading advertising and marketing firms, has tapped agency veteran James Gorab to become only the fourth President in the firm's 61-year history.

Mr. Gorab replaces long-time President Michael Gavin, who will stay on as the company's Chairman.

Mr. Gorab was promoted from his position as the agency's Executive Vice President, where he oversaw combined advertising, public relations and marketing efforts for the majority of Turchette's clients. He has a lengthy history of success at Turchette: he started with the firm as an account executive in 1989 and, as he advanced through increasingly important roles, played a large part in expanding the agency's client base to include a range of local, national and international companies serving industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and beverage, industrial equipment and consumer products.

Mr. Gorab is already well known within his client genres as an established marketing expert and one of the faces of Turchette Advertising itself. This role in particular will increase as President.

“Jim's track record of retaining clients on a long-term basis and expanding the company's reach into new niches made this an easy decision,” said Mr. Gavin. “Under his leadership the agency will continue to grow and evolve into new markets and will serve its clients with the outstanding service for which Turchette Advertising is known.”

Mr. Gorab is a graduate of Rutgers University. He currently resides in Fredon Township, NJ, with his wife and children.
