Honeywell announces winners of its 2011 Channel Partner of the Year awards

Honeywell today announced the winners of its annual Channel Partner of the Year awards at the 2011 Americas Distribution Channel Executive Conference, being held in conjunction with Honeywell's flagship annual Americas Users Group Symposium.

The awards recognize Honeywell Process Solutions' channel partners in the Americas region who have performed exceptionally throughout the last 12 months, meeting key criteria including growth, customer service, innovation and excellence in the “spirit of partnership.” Awards are given to one partner from North America, and one from South America.

Honeywell's channel partners distribute products and solutions related to instrumentation, modular controllers, and Honeywell Enraf products and solutions relating to tank gauging, tank inventory management, tank terminal operations and meter proving. The awards were presented by Don Maness, vice president and general manager of field products, Honeywell Process Solutions, and Richard Thompson, general manager, Honeywell Enraf. The two winners were:

1. North America: Loy Instrument, Inc (United States). Accepting the award was Ken Bradway, vice president and engineering manager.

2. South America: Equipos y Controles Industriales S.A (Colombia). Accepting the award was Javier Lozano Gomez, sales manager.

“Our channel partners are a very important part of the Honeywell business, as they really bring great value to customers across many industries. With their local knowledge and product expertise they can help customers meet local regulatory and industrial process requirements, which is a huge help in our industry,” Maness said. “We wanted to recognize the role they play in the success of our business, and these awards are our way of saying thank you.”

“I'm really happy to accept this award because we believe in the products and solutions that Honeywell makes,” Bradway said. “Working with the Honeywell team means we can offer quality products to our customers while counting on great support and help at all times. It's a great combination.”
