SCA Cool Logistics expands into Middle East

SCA Cool Logistics, the leading temperature controlled packaging manufacturer, has announced the opening of its new premises in Dubai to meet demand in the Middle East and North Africa.

The company's new center, based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, is strategically placed to reduce lead times associated with the supply of high quality temperature controlled packaging. This expansion further supports SCA Cool Logistics strategy to be able to support its customers globally.

Steve Healy, SCA Cool Logistics' sales and marketing manager, explains: “We're delighted to be able to provide our products and services to clients who operate in the Middle East and Northern Africa where there are increasingly growing regulatory requirements.''

Temperatures in some areas of the Middle East and Northern Africa sometimes reach up to +50ºC. With a lack of locally available, internationally recognised temperature controlled packaging solutions available in this area SCA Cool Logistics has moved in to provide an excellent portfolio of products and technical support, by supplying Sherpa, ZeoCool and MTS Credo systems with various temperature ranges. Providing packaging that can guarantee to keep product maintained between certain temperatures, is crucial in the pharmaceutical supply chain strategy.

This move to Dubai has already supported a number of clients who had experienced challenges to reach certain areas of the globe with their temperature controlled packaging requirements.
