Pregis names Kevin Baudhuin president of global protective packaging

Pregis Corp., a manufacturer of protective packaging products and specialty solutions, has named Kevin Baudhuin, president, global protective packaging, effective immediately.

Baudhuin joined Pregis in December 2007 as president of the company’s North American protective packaging business. During his tenure, he has spearheaded development of innovative protective packaging solutions while also bringing significant performance improvement and growth to Pregis. Baudhuin now will also oversee the company’s European protective packaging business and will continue to report to Mike McDonnell, president and chief executive officer, Pregis Corp.

“This appointment is part of our strategic decision to manage our North American and European business in a more seamless and collaborative way. This change will help leverage our collective knowledge and capabilities. The objective is to continue to drive superior innovation and profitable growth,” McDonnell said.

In 2009, Pregis’ pro forma consolidated revenue was approximately $820 million. The company employs 4,000 staff members, worldwide.
