The agreement enhances the offerings provided by United Cargo's Temp ControlSM service in meeting the needs of healthcare and pharmaceutical customers that require strict temperature control of their products during transport. The FAA approved AcuTemp RKN will fill the need for shipping products with temperature requirements between +4 degrees Celsius to + 25 degrees Celsius. The lease agreement is a culmination of weeks of preparation between the two companies to confirm that all procedures and training are in place in order for United to offer the container.

The superior performance of the CSafe AcuTemp RKN can be attributed to the thermal capabilities of ThermoCor® insulation which provides extended operating efficiencies. The unit's proprietary air movement, heating, cooling and insulation systems allow the AcuTemp RKN to maintain a consistent user selected payload set-point in ambient temperatures as extreme as -30 degrees C to +49 degrees C. The operating efficiency of the unit allows for a full load of product inside the container without the need for secondary packaging. This makes the AcuTemp RKN a cost effective solution compared to dry ice and other passive solutions.

Brian Kohr, General Manager of CSafe commented, “We are pleased to have United Cargo as a CSafe airline partner. We are confident that the superior performing AcuTemp RKN air cargo container will be a great addition to their Temp Control service offerings.”
