James Alexander Corporation, a leading manufacturer and contract packager of unit dose dispensing systems, was one of only 26 hand-picked exhibitors at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association's (NJBIA) “Made in New Jersey Day” on Monday, March 15th at the State House in Trenton, NJ.
By highlighting the products and innovations of two dozen New Jersey manufacturers, “Made in New Jersey Day” is intended to call attention to a valuable but vulnerable sector of the State economy that directly employs 260,000 workers and indirectly provides jobs for tens of thousands.
The event was held in the hallways of the State House while both the assembly and the senate were in session, giving 120 policymakers and government officials - including Governor Christie - the opportunity to see the interesting array of products that are still being made in New Jersey and the challenges manufacturers face doing business in New Jersey.
“James Alexander was very proud to be one of an elite 26 NJ-based manufacturers selected by the NJBIA to exhibit product and showcase its business at this important event,” said Francesca Fazzolari, President, James Alexander Corporation. “The economic crisis has affected everyone in this country from the small business owners to the global corporations - and NJ businesses are certainly no exception. We are confident that our presence at the show reminded lawmakers that NJ businesses need their support now, more than ever before and it was a truly invaluable experience for all who participated.”
