Minnesota Thermal Science (MTS), an international provider of solutions for the safe transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical, blood and biologic products, today announced its strategic partnership with European market-leader of temperature-controlled packaging, SCA Cool Logistics (Cool Logistics). The partnership will allow MTS and Cool Logistics to expand their operations globally, as well as to offer a complete range of products to all clients.
Through this partnership, Cool Logistics, a United Kingdom-based company specializing in the design, testing and qualifying of temperature controlled packaging for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, will provide sales and distribution of the MTS Credo® product line throughout Europe and other parts of the world, providing clients a broader product offering, quicker more efficient delivery and local customer support. In turn, MTS will expand its product offerings to include Cool Logistics' leading Sherpa product line and new ZeoCool product line. By offering complimentary products, clients will now have the opportunity to work with one provider to create a complete thermal packaging solution that will address all of their needs.
“MTS has consistently demonstrated its leadership in delivering sophisticated cold chain packaging solutions and we are excited about the opportunity to expand globally with Cool Logistics,” said Karl Schlenker, vice president of strategic business development for MTS. “The ability to deliver a full range of products from local distribution points will shorten lead times and reduce delivery cost to our clients. Because MTS and Cool Logistics currently serve a number of mutual clients, the partnership will not only enhance our relationships with them, but also result in stronger account coverage and deeper global relationships.”
Cool Logistics' extensive international network of partnerships and manufacturing locations across three continents enables them to develop fully qualified, cost effective systems for clients, using environmentally friendly materials that are customizable to meet the most diverse climatic conditions.
“As the demand for a wide range of cost efficient, high performance solutions that can be supplied on a global basis increases, Cool Logistics and MTS are in a unique place to provide a complimentary and highly innovative product offering both to our existing international customer base and those in a diverse number of new market segments,” said Nick Walsh, strategic development manager for Cool Logistics.
MTS and Cool Logistics will be exhibiting together at the 8th Cold Chain Management and Temperature Control Summit that is being held in Toronto, February 23-25.
