DHL opens Puerto Rico center

DHL Global Forwarding opened a dedicated Life Science Competency Center in Carolina, Puerto Rico, as part of its initiative to provide a global network of people, processes, and quality-controlled environment for the life sciences sector.

It's designed around the shipping requirements of the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device makers doing business in Puerto Rico. DHL personnel are trained and certified by Envirotainer, a provider of temperature-controlled air cargo containers.
