More than 100 guests representing pharma companies of all sizes attended the 10th anniversary of Antares Vision, the global provider of serialization-based track-and-trace products for the pharmaceutical industry.
The Oct. 18 open house focused on the supplier’s role in the North American pharmaceutical serialization landscape. Antares Vision and various partners including Cognex, Domino, ESS Technologies, MG America, and WLS, presented live demos exhibiting a range of products and technologies.
Among the Antares Vision offerings on display was the Antares Tracking System platform—a completely modular software suite covering serialization Levels 1 through 4 that handles track and trace from production line through enterprise ecosystem. This is increasingly crucial given the looming DSCSA deadline for unit-level serialization, as the platform is able to manage data storage and exchanges connecting production plants, CMOs, 3PLs and government authorities.
Comprising both hardware and software, the company’s products have been installed on more than 1,300 production lines in more than 200 plants worldwide.
The celebration also commemorated recent award recognitions and grant allowances, as well as its inclusion in the London Stock Exchange’s listing of 1000 Companies to Inspire Europe 2016. Also acknowledged was the recent relocation of the company’s North American headquarters to Moorestown, NJ, which offers about three times as much floor space as the previous facility, as well as the commissioning of its 1000th serialization line in 2016.
