Serialization Training/Certification Program

Supply Chain Wizard (SCW)—a global consulting firm specializing in serialization and traceability, and supply chain strategy and operational transformation programs—will host a three-day Serialization Training & Certification Program Dec. 6-8 at the Mövenpick Hotel City Centre in Amsterdam.

The event is part of Supply Chain Wizard Academy, the company’s professional development and training platform targeting to build capabilities in the industry in supply chain and traceability fields.

The program is for pharmaceutical industry professionals seeking in-depth insight into the methodologies and tools required to implement an effective customized serialization program. The program is designed for pharmaceutical industry professionals focused on serialization within their organizations, and for those looking to move beyond compliance to recognize additional ROI.

For the first two days, participants will attend instructor-led classroom-style sessions addressing the ways that implementing track and trace has an impact on businesses—including company departments not typically associated with this impact. The program’s scope reaches beyond traditional packaging/engineering, and includes a review of serialization’s impacts on IT, supply chain/distribution, commercial/finance, artwork/labeling, and validation and qualification.

The program culminates with a “show and tell” site visit to a local pharmaceutical packager, which will demonstrate serialization concepts and techniques in real-time, and answer questions regarding the challenges and opportunities of implementing serialization.
