The offline Seal-Scan® 525 technology nondestructive pouch seal quality analysis system demonstrated at the Pack Expo Show in Las Vegas is a noncontact airborne ultrasonic imaging system that measures the physical properties of pouch seals, identifying weak seals and defects. Serves as an offline analytical tool for in-depth heat-seal analysis that also pinpoints optimum sealing conditions: e.g. temperature and dwell time. Generates a digital footprint of the entire seal area from left to right, top to bottom, so that operators can compare seal characteristics over time, with different sealing conditions.
