HBA 2007 has been restructured into three components that encompass the major heath and beauty industry sectors: marketing, technical, and naturals. Each sector has its own dedicated conference program and exhibits on the show floor.
The marketing component, focusing on packaging, will place greater emphasis on package development.
The technical component will combine ingredients and manufacturing into a showcase focused on all new product developments, including naturals, botanicals, and organics. This sector brings together raw materials, ingredient suppliers, and formulators.
The naturals sector will focus on the marriage of nature and beauty, providing a platform to explore beauty from the inside out. The latest botanicals, organics, and natural products will be featured.
Another highlight of HBA will be the International Safety and Regulatory Summit on Sept. 19. The full-day conference will feature a panel of 17 international cosmetic industry experts, including the Food and Drug Administration; Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association; leading safety and regulatory consultants; toxicologists; attorneys; influential think tank leaders on public perception and oversight policy; leading academics in green chemistry; and cosmetic industry executives.
