More than 100 people representing nine major packaging end-users, 19 machinery builders and 28 controls suppliers attended the meeting at the October Pack Expo Las Vegas show.

The meeting was organized and sponsored by the Indramat Div. of Mannesmann Rexroth (Hoffman Estates, IL), ARC Advisory Group (Dedham, MA) and Packaging World magazine.

The meeting was moderated by Dennis Daniels, director of sales & marketing of ARC Advisory Group. Daniels coordinates the OMAC Users Group (Open Modular Architecture Controls). OMAC is a multi-industry controls users group.
