G’s is a vertically integrated grower-to-marketing organization headquarered in Cambridgeshire, England, and a leading fresh produce company in Europe It has now ventured into the drinks market with the help of printing specialist Chadwicks.

PWR+ is a pioneering sports drink containing only natural ingredients. Launched in retail outlets across the country including Boots, Holland & Barrett and gnc.co.uk, the nutrition drink is branded using a shrink sleeves from Chadwicks’ site in Bury, Lancashire. Chadwicks, a Clondalkin Group company, is a supplier of flexible packaging for the food, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.

The multilayer shrink sleeves measure 50-microns thick and are UV flexo-printed in up to eight colors with a patterned surface matte lacquer, giving the product a premium look and feel. The ink is printed on the reverse of the film and the matte finish applied in register to the front.

The PET bottle is injection-molded by APPE Packaging. The bottle receives a PP closure with a tamper-evident band. G’s prefers to keep filling and labeling details confidential.

It was also important that the text on the bottles, of which there were two variations, matched the color of the lids exactly."
