More international travel and higher incidences of infectious diseases in emerging economies will drive this vaccines market in coming years, says report.

The top therapeutic indications for prescribing travel vaccines are hepatitis A and B, rabies, typhoid fever, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, and meningococcal meningitis. That’s according to a new report, “Travel Vaccines Market to 2017—Growth in International Travel and Higher Incidences of Infectious Diseases in Emerging Economies to Drive the Market” from GBI (Global Business Intelligence) Research.

Published in March, 2011, the report includes details on drivers, barriers, and revenue forecasts for the travel vaccines market, looking into the market in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and the rest of the world. The table of contents, a list of figures, tables, and a request for sample pages are available at the above Web site, along with three different licensing and pricing details.

With the summer vacation season nearing, traveler health information is available at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Web site.
