Tegrant Corporation, Protexic Brands is pleased to announce that its Mount Pleasant, Tennessee manufacturing facility has achieved ISO 14001 certification from SRI Quality System Registrar, an internationally accredited firm for management system standards.
“By establishing a commitment to minimize waste, conserve resources, and reduce energy consumption, we are taking an important step toward preserving the environment,” says Jeff Weingart, Vice President of Operations for Protexic Brands. “This certification is a tremendous achievement and I am very proud of our team for all of the effort that they put into achieving this.”
This state of the art, custom molding facility, produces automotive components and protective packaging products from EPP, EPS, and Arcel® resins. In addition to the ISO 14001 certification, the Mount Pleasant facility is also ISO 9001 & ISO/TS16949 certified.
ISO 14001 is a standard instituted by the International Standards Organization that establishes requirements and guidelines for environmental management systems. ISO standards help signify to our customers that Protexic Brands operates with the correct management practices, control mechanisms, and planning processes in place to ensure our manufacturing practices are efficient, safe, and clean.
